This year is…well, a whirlwind. It began overlooking the city of Alajuela, Costa Rica, watching thousands of fireworks ring in the new year. And then it was off to Bermuda over spring break for a needed vacation–well, chorale tour, that is. Summer brought road trips to the Pacific Northwest, and then two months spent with a Duke service program in Hyderabad, India, working with education policy and gender issues. Fall semester will be spent down south in Chile and Argentina, studying abroad with SIT. It’s casual–this is just the life of a Duke student taking advantage of every opportunity to travel for free.
